Well-SENSE and WIS complete well interference surveys for a major operator in the Persian Gulf.

Well-SENSE and (WIS) Wellbore Integrity Solutions jointly announced a business co-operation agreement earlier this year to deliver a complementary package of services for late-life, wellbore remediation and abandonment projects. Together, the team completed its first major project in the Persian Gulf surveying five wells to analyse well interference.

This project used a combination of DAS and DTS and logged two pairs of wells simultaneously over a 24-hour period. Operations on all five wells were 100% successful and the results were impressive. The service was delivered rapidly, with a load out of seven days after receiving the order, and offshore operations were completed in three days.
