High temperature and extended reach probes added to the FLI family

We’re excited to be growing our family of FLI products with the recent addition of a new high-temperature well probe and a longer reaching probe that can access an impressive 30,000ft (9,000m/ 5+ miles). Both these FLI variants are field-ready and are being shipped to the US this week for deployment on live projects in the next few months.
In the photos you can see the high temperature FLI in red and Kevin Rose is ably demonstrating the size difference between our longer reaching 2.75” OD BI-FLI for accessing 25,000 - 30,000ft wells and our 2” OD standard FLI probe containing 12,000ft of fibre. The BI-FLI contains two separate spools of fibre, so that’s 60,000ft (18,000m/11+ miles) in total!
As we expand our application of FLI into hotter plays and longer laterals it opens up further opportunities for operators to benefit from the unique advantages of FLI’s distributed fibre-optic well surveys including cost, efficiency and quality data solutions.
