Celebrating our 75th FLI deployment - performing a cross-well strain survey in a horizontal well.

Last weekend marked a Well-SENSE milestone, as we celebrated our 75th FLI tool deployment. On Saturday 6th February FLI was deployed for a major international operator in a well in the Eagle Ford, US. The tool was deployed to a depth of 16,500ft, free falling to 12,000ft before being pumped along the horizontal wellbore. It arrived on depth just four hours after the crew started rig-up. The deployed fibre optic recorded high quality data for cross well strain monitoring for several days while operations were ongoing.
